A majority of the works here are generally abstract nonsense and requiring actual payment to access them would legitimately be criminal.  The objective is to provide a direct means of support without necessarily providing physical goods, requiring a subscription, affiliate marketing, or other means of financial fulfillment. The goal is to create a sort of "public library that subsists on generous donations" type of environment.

Some form of sales figures will be released periodically, which is subject to grow and change based on community feedback. The desire is to obscure the 'value' of each individual work while complying with financial transparency and data privacy laws/respect. The logic is to simply understand how something obtains 'value' naturally.  Naturally could mean organic, sporadic, and random choices or an organized push made independently. Unnaturally would be the site author pushing, promoting, or otherwise spotlighting specific works. The hope is that some trends or unique points of data will appear between the volumes of works caught by influences outside of independent control, information which will then later be shared. Anything not pertaining to the logic of 'value' will be transparently given in the periodic report, being subject to grow and change based on community feedback.
